Kevin Gordon – Global Buddies volunteer

“Over the last 3 years or so, I have been involved in Birkbeck’s Global Buddies scheme, where I act as a buddy to one or more of their international students.

“This year, I was pleased to be assigned to Kristoffer, who travelled from the Philippines to do a Master of Laws. When we first met, we did a tour of the Inns of Courts before ending the day in fine English style, with a pint. No better way to introduce him to the English way of life.”
