Careers Clinics

Inspire and support the career ambitions of a student by sharing industry insight and providing career guidance through CV and interview preparation.

Make an impact on a student’s career awareness and preparation by sharing your professional expertise as a Careers Clinic volunteer.

Share your Expertise

Careers Clinics is a termly programme which matches volunteers and students based on shared career interests. Volunteers are expected to arrange two meetings (in-person or virtual) during the term to provide:

Industry Insight

  • Discuss your professional journey and provide insight in to your role and responsibilities.
  • Share advice for those aspiring to enter your field or industry.

CV and Interview Clinic

  • Provide clear and constructive feedback on CVs and cover letters.
  • Practise common and industry-specific interview questions.

Interested in taking part?

Volunteer registrations will open in Spring 2023. If you have an interest in supporting students with their career aspirations and a willingness to answer questions and share insights related to your profession or industry, we would love to hear from you.

We welcome interest from all professions, however there is a particularly high demand for volunteers working in the following roles and sectors: Data Analysis, Computer Science, Finance, Marketing, Government and Policy, Environment and Sustainability, Journalism and Media.
