Are you Career ready?

Careers Clinics matches you with a member of alumni community based on your career interests. You will attend 1-2 meetings (in-person or virtual) with an alumni volunteer.

Industry Insight Interview

Have your burning questions answered! Prepare questions on the roles, responsibilities and professional expectations within your industries of interest.
Gain insight in to entry requirements and career pathways.

CV Review

Tailor your CV and cover letter in response to clear and constructive feedback.

Please note that matching is subject to the availability of our alumni volunteers. Registering your interest does not guarantee you will be matched.

Registrations for 2024/25 are now open. Matching is subject to the availability of an alumni volunteer with experience in your industry of interest.

If you would like to register for Careers Clinics, we are looking for:

A desire to increase your understanding of career pathways, industry requirements and job application preparation.
A willingness to receive constructive feedback on your CV and cover letter.
The availability to meet at least once with a Careers Clinic volunteer during a specified period.

Please note that Careers Clinics complements the services run by the Careers and Enterprise team. If you require time sensitive support or have any questions about careers support at Birkbeck, please contact the Careers and Enterprise team.
